Volkswagen will Build More Aggressively Designed Vehicles
Volkswagen is known for producing some of the most stylish and advanced vehicles on the road today. They have always been characterized by their simple and refined exterior styling. However, one of the criticisms that the brand has often received over the years is that they do not come up with designs that are sporty and aggressive enough in comparison to their competitors. However, that is all going to be changing very soon. We just learned that Volkswagen will build more aggressively designed vehicles from now on, which is very exciting news for anyone who is a fan of the brand.
The brand claims that they are going to liven up their design offerings. They told a group of journalists who were visiting a Volkswagen design studio that they will be styling vehicles so that they will be more “market specific”.
This means that they will have designs that are much more aggressive in the US, which is very exciting. Volkswagen is hoping that incorporating these sportier and more aggressive designs will help them increase their market share and brand presence here in the United States.
Klaus Bischoff, the Head Designer for the Volkswagen brand explained that the new mid-size crossover that they will be releasing soon will have a bold styling that really makes a statement. It will take a lot of design cues from the Cross Coupe GTE, and will boast a sculpted hood, notched grille, and more.
We are very excited for the dramatic design changes that will be featured on this new model. However, the existing models in the lineup will evolve and become more aggressive at a much slower pace.
