Volkswagen Beetle Concepts at the NY Auto Show
In recent years there have been rumors that Volkswagen may stop making the iconic Beetle model. However, that rumor couldn’t be any further from the truth, and we are very excited about that. In fact, there are some all-new Volkswagen Beetle concepts at the NY Auto Show. We will be using this blog post to tell you everything that we know so far about these new Volkswagen Beetle concept vehicles.
The New York Auto Show is going on this week. Volkswagen has decided to use this event to gauge consumer reactions to some possible special edition models of their iconic Beetle model. These concept models are being aimed a several different market niches.
They brought several new Beetle concepts with them to New York. However, the most impressive is by far the Beetle R-Line concept. This exciting new concept car is geared towards performance enthusiasts. It came covered in Oryx White pearl, is wider than the stock Beetle and has an aggressive and sporty appearance overall.
Other than the R-Line, there are three other concept models. They have used these concept models to try out some new colors and trims. One of them boasts a metallic pink trim, another one is painted with a Habanero Orange Metallic color and has some stylish retro touches. Finally, the last Beetle Concept is a convertible and is painted with a unique denim color.
We hope that some of these features make there way to actual production models of the Beetle sometime in the near future.
