Pricing of Ram Rebel and Laramie Limited
American’s absolutely love pickup trucks, so it’s no surprise that when the Ram unveiled the new special edition Rebel and Laramie Limited trucks at the Detroit Auto Show, they got some serious attention and praise. When Ram pulled the sheet off these special edition trucks in Detroit they told us everything that was special about them. However, they left out one very critical detail, the pricing. Well, now the pricing of Ram Rebel and Laramie Limited has been officially released.
It has been officially reported that the starting price for the Ram Rebel will be $43,985. That starting price is only for the two-wheel drive version of the vehicle. So if you want to add four-wheel drive your price tag will be increased to $45,915. However, that version only includes the 3.6-liter, PentaStar six-cylinder engine. So if you want to add a more muscular 5.7-liter, HEMI, eight-cylinder engine the price will bump up again to $47,565. No one ever said that the Ram Rebel 1500 was going to be cheap, but the thing sure is cool.
The other special edition truck that was unveiled was the Laramie Limited. This truck is designed to be more high-end and luxurious, whereas, the Rebel is designed to look tough and aggressive. The Laramie Limited also comes in a few more varieties than the Rebel does, however, it does come with a higher starting price tag. It was just announced that the starting price of the Laramie Limited truck will be $51,870. The base model of this truck comes with the 5.7-liter, HEMI, eight-cylinder engine, but does not have four-wheel drive. Ram gives you the option of switching out the 5.7-liter HEMI with the 3.0-liter, EcoDiesel, six-cylinder for an extra $3,120. Also, if adding four-wheel drive increases the price another $3,505.
