Ford Announced new Updates to the 2016 Transit
Here at Dave Syverson Auto Center we are big fans of the Ford Transit lineup of utility vans because of the versatility and features that they offer. Well, now we have even more reasons to be excited, because Ford announced new updates to the 2016 Transit. These new updates take an already great lineup of utility vans and made them even better, which is very exciting. We are going to be using this blog post to tell you everything that we know about these new updates and improvements to the Transit models.
One of our favorite upgrades to the Transit is the addition of a sliding door on the medium and high roof models. This is not a standard feature, but it is an available option. This new sliding door is a welcomed feature to the Transit because it significantly improves access to the interior of the vehicle. People who use the Transit for industrial and small businesses uses will really appreciate this added convenience.
The Transit lineup is also getting a lot of all-new technology, which has customers very excited. The biggest tech addition is the availability of SYNC 3, which is Ford’s new infotainment system that is replacing MyFord Touch. Some of the other technology features on the Transit are a standard rearview backup camera, and some new customization options.
The Transit is already the best-selling lineup of vans in the country, and we are confident that this success will continue into the new 2016 model year because of all of these exciting new changes and upgrades.
According to Ford Transit Brand Manager, Yaro Hetman, “These and other updates make the 2016 Ford Transit the smartest, most flexible van ever offered by Ford.”
