New 2015 VW Beetle GRC
All of us here at Dave Syverson Auto Center are huge fans of the Volkswagen brand. By far one of our favorite model in that brand is the Beetle. We especially love tricked out versions of that car. Now, when most people think of the Volkswagen Beetle, they don’t think of it as a sports car. Instead, they simply think of it as a car with unique and cool styling cues. However, the new 2015 VW Beetle GRC may change some of the preconceptions that you have about the Volkswagen Beetle.
The 2015 Volkswagen Beetle GRC is not your typical Beetle. This is the car that is being driven by Tanner Faust and Scott Speed in the Global Rallycross Championships. This is by far one of the coolest and most tricked out Beetles that we have ever seen.
They have given this Beetle a retro styling with a lot of unique design cues such as a big spoiler on the back, a slick white paint job, a stylish front grille, and lots of vents. This is by far one of the most stunning and stylish Volkswagen Beetles that we have ever seen.
This vehicle is able to backup its sporty styling with great performance. The new 2015 Volkswagen Beetle GRC comes equipped with a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged engine that is able to make 553 horsepower with 465 pound-feet of torque. It is also coming equipped with ZF Dampers, 9.5 inches of suspension travel, 14-inch front disk brakes, 17-inch wheels, and all-wheel drive. The performance on this vehicle is simply unbelievable. In fact, it can go from 0-60 in two seconds flat.
Tanner Faust and Scott Speed will be racing this vehicle for Andretti Autosport in the 2015 Rallycross Championship in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
