1) Myre-Big Island State Park. If you’re the outdoorsy type, and a weekend filled with trails, grasslands, camping, lakes, marshes and waterfowl sounds exciting, then you may want to spend your Labor Day weekend at Myre-Big Island State Park. The event will begin on August 27, 2015 and conclude on September 7. Camping is available for those who wish to stay on site. 3) The Bayside Water Ski Show Team. Those who wish to be highly entertained come Labor Day are encouraged to check out the Bayside Water Ski Show! Located right in Albert Lea, the event offers fun for the entire family, a potluck and a variety of ski tricks! The show will begin at 2 p.m. on September 7, 2015, and conclude later in the day.
