Halloween 2015 events near Albert Lea MN

With Halloween season in full swing, Albert Lea has plenty of Halloween fun to offer ghosts and goblins of all ages. The holiday is fast approaching, but there is still time to enjoy spooky celebrations. Here are some Halloween 2015 events near Albert Lea to sink your teeth into.

Haunted Walk

When:  Friday, October 30, 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Where:  Brookside Trail boat landing

United Way and the Parks and Rec department invite you to join them for a haunted walk along Brookside Trail.  Recommended for people ages 10 and up, this event costs $5 per person and should set the right mood for Halloween weekend.

Halloween Bash

When: Friday, October 30 at 8:00 p.m. – Saturday, October 31 at 12:30 a.m.
Where:  American Legion, 151 S Broadway Ave, Alden, MN

Late-night gremlins can scurry over to American Legion and enjoy a fun evening that will feature karaoke (someone is bound to sing “Monster Mash”) and a costume contest, with prizes awarded at midnight.

Halloween Camp

When:  Saturday, October 31, 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Where:  Just for Kix Dance Studio

Divided into two camps (one from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m., and the other from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m.), this event offers face painting, cookie decorating, a photo booth, crafts, and dancing for kids in the 3 years old to 3rd grade age range.  You can register at classes.justforkix.com for $25, and kids are encouraged to attend in costume.

Northbridge Mall Halloween

When:  Saturday, October 31, 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Where:  Northbridge Mall

The Northbridge Mall will begin an afternoon of kid-friendly festivities at 1:00 with a Halloween Magic Show.  Next, at 2:30, the little spooks can show off their costumes during the Halloween Costume Contest until 3:30.  Finally, it’s time to bag the Halloween bounty with Trick or Treating in the Mall from 4:00 to 5:00.
