Fun Summer Activities in Minnesota
Now that spring is coming to a close, all of us here at Dave Syverson Auto Center are starting to get excited for summertime. We honestly believe that there is no better place to spend the summer months than Minnesota. Therefore, we have decided to dedicate this blog post to sharing some fun summer activities in Minnesota. We hope that our readers get together with their families and friends to make some new memories and try out some of these great summertime activities.
Tamarac Wildlife Refuge:
The Tamarac Wildlife Refuge is located in North Central Minnesota, and is a can’t miss summer destination. The Tamarac Wildlife Refuge is one of the most diverse locations in North America and covers an expansive 42,724 acres . It was originally established as a refuge and breeding location for migratory birds and other types of wildlife. So its a lot of fun to bring your binoculars and camera and check out some of the amazing wildlife that lives in the refuge.
Take a Bike Tour:
One of the best ways to spend a summer day is to hop on a bicycle and go for a ride. There is also no better state to ride a bike than Minnesota. In fact, Minneapolis Minnesota has earned the title of the most bicycle friendly city in America. There are a lot of fun bike tours and trails to check in Minnesota and summer is the best time of year to do it.
Amusement Parks and Theme Parks:
One of the most family friendly and fun activities that you can take part in is visiting one of the many great amusement parks and theme parks that Minnesota has to offer. This state offers great theme parks to cool off at such as Bunker Beach Waterpark, which is Minnesota’s largest outdoor waterpark.
Head to the Ballpark:
Summer just isn’t complete until you take in a baseball game. So head out to the ballpark and catch a Minnesota Twins game, or one of the other great teams located in this great state.
