Ford will be Unveiling a 2017 Fiesta RS

Anyone who is a fan of Ford performance vehicles has had a lot to be excited about this year. Ford has given us a plethora of new performance vehicles with everything from the Ford GT supercar, redesigned Mustang, and a new version of the Ford Focus RS that will be coming to American soil for the first time ever. However, it appears that Ford is not done surprising us with epic new performance vehicles yet this year.  There have recently been reports that Ford will be unveiling a 2017 Fiesta RS, and we are absolutely thrilled.

There have been rumors floating around within the automotive community for months about the potential release of this car, and it appears that those rumors turned out to be true. There have been various reports and spy shots that have been taken of Ford testing what appears to be the 2017 Ford Fiesta RS over in Europe. Although Ford has not officially confirmed this information yet, we think that its safe to say that this is most likely the hot Fiesta RS hatch that we have all been waiting for.

The spy shots obviously show the car wrapped in camouflage, so we don’t know exactly what it will look like. However, we can tell that it will feature a revised front end that has some new cooling components, a new rear-end design and new flared out fenders to accommodate the wider track.

There is still no information available about the what the performance specifications will be on this vehicle. However, it is fair to assume that it will boast a powerful EcoBoost engine, and will likely have 250 horsepower or more, which would be very impressive.

Details may be scarce on this vehicle right now, but as we learn more in the coming weeks and months we will be sure to update you with additional blog postings.
