Dodge is Producing an Extra 1,000 Hellcats
The automotive community has been talking about Dodge’s new Challenger and Charger Hellcat models nonstop since they were unveiled last year. These are by far the fastest muscles cars that has ever been built, so its easy to see why they have been so popular. In most cases, vehicles like the Hellcats are sold in low volume because of their high price tags and because they aren’t practical for most people. However, that has not been the case with the Hellcats. Both the Challenger Hellcat and Charger Hellcat have been selling unbelievably well. In fact, Dodge is producing an extra 1,000 Hellcats to fill backorders and meet demand.
Dodge never expected the Hellcat to sell so well. Since the orders were so much higher than expected, there is a long waiting list for these vehicles. In fact, this waiting list has gotten so long that the automaker finally decided to stop taking new orders for these high-performance vehicles.
However, if you have already purchased a Hellcat and are on the waiting list, you should be happy to hear about this extra production. Those who are already on the waiting list will get there cars much faster because of this increase in production.
There is no information available yet on what the split will be between the Challenger and Charger models.
This news is very exciting to all of us here at Dave Syverson Auto Center because it shows that Dodge is doing their best to meet the heavy demand for this high-performance muscle car. We hope that everyone who has been waiting on their Hellcats will get them very soon. We will be sure to provide you with updates on this story as they become available to us.
