Chrysler Employees get a Free College Education
Times are tough, and things cost a lot more today than they used to. One of the best examples of this is college education. The cost of attending college has been skyrocketing over the last few decades. This has left a lot of people wondering how they are going to pay for it or if they should go at all. In fact, the college class of 2014 graduated with an average student loan debt of around $33,000, which will take them years to pay back. However, if you are an employee of Chrysler you will never have to worry about how you are going to pay for college, because it now they have made it absolutely free. That’s right, Chrysler employees get a free college education. We have decided to dedicate this blog post to telling you everything that we know about this exciting new program that has just been implemented.
FCA understands how competitive the job market is becoming, and they want to give their dealership employees a leg up on the competition. Therefore, they have partnered up with Strayer University to offer free college education to all of their employees. Chrysler employees can take any of the classes online, or on campus through a program called DegreesWork. The program will also be open to both full-time and part-time employees.
As of right now the free college education program is only available to FCA dealerships located in the Southeast region. That includes: Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama and Tennessee. However, they will be expanding this program nationally before the end of the year.
FCA views this program and its partnership with Strayer as an excellent way to improve the talent of its workforce. It is also a great benefit to people who want to take advantage of a completely free education.
