As automakers around the globe prepare for what the next generation of cars (electric and hands-free vehicles), Nissan is plunging forward with its idea for an autonomous automobile. Originally, the idea was presented in 2013, it is expected that Nissan won’t plunge forward with definite plans for quite awhile. News Flash:The 2015 Nissan Frontier in Albert Lea Minnesota will be a reality in the coming months. Nissan has announced a new and improved Frontier that will be making its way to Albert Lea, Minnesota.This new model has the same favorite features as other Frontier models, but many elements have been improved to provide drivers with even more satisfaction.

The improvements begin with the exterior shape of the Frontier. In the front, the U-shaped radiator grille that Nissan is notorious for is more rounded and the hood is more sleek and less bulky than the previous Frontier. In the rear,the tailgate has been shaped to compensate for larger tail lamps and an integrated spoiler. The Frontier will have  a more sleek design and you will still be able to choose between two different bed lengths.

You’ve heard of self driving cars, but what about a self cleaning car? How often have you had get up on an nice summer weekend morning, look out the window and think, “It’s not going to rain today, I better wash the car.” You inevitably spent the rest of your morning cleaning and detailing your car, struggling with hoses, rags, and wax, tripping over yourself just so your car gets that much cleaner. Or you’ve been at the gas pump and something reminds you to take your car through the wash and you sigh and resign yourself to spending a few more dollars on top of the full tank of gas you just pumped. These two scenarios might be a thing of the past if Nissan’s new technology takes off. (more…)
