We understand just how busy and hectic life can get. There just never seems to be enough hours in the day. However, it’s also important to take a little time for yourself every once in awhile. There is no better way to take a break from the craziness that is everyday than camping. Luckily, Minnesota is home to one of the best camping destinations in the world, the Boundary Waters.

The Boundary Waters is located within the Superior National Forest in Northeastern Minnesota. It is basically a giant preserve that falls between the border of the United States and Canada. It has many beautiful lakes that are all surrounded by forests. The Boundary Waters was actually named as one of National Geographic Traveler Magazine’s 50 must see places in a lifetime.

There are over 1,500 miles of canoe routes that stretch over 1,000 lakes, rivers and streams. Even though there are about 200,000 people a year who visit, you will see very few people due to the vastness of this location. Another nice thing about the Boundary Waters is that it is camping in its truest form. There are no roads, no RV’s or other luxuries of civilization. It’s just you and nature, which makes it a great place to turn off your phone and get away from the stress of real life.

Another nice thing about the boundary waters is that whether you stay for a day or a month you’ll never get bored. There is just so much to see that nobody could possibly experience it all over the course of a trip. Be sure to talk to a local outdoor sports shop to ask them for help planning your excursion. Be sure to stop down to Dave Syverson Auto Center to have your car serviced before you leave for your Boundary Waters camping trip near Albert Lea MN.
