60th Anniversary of the Chrysler 300

This year will mark the 60th anniversary of the Chrysler 300 model, and it does not disappoint. They have gone completely back to the drawing board and have redesigned the newest version of the 300 to be better than ever for this historic anniversary year. The Chrysler 300 has always been characterized as a premium vehicle that offers a perfect blend of luxury and performance. The new 2015 model year continues that trend, but takes the level of quality and craftsmanship to a whole new level.

The last time that the 300 went through a significant redesign was four years ago. During that model year they upgraded the exterior style, quality of the interior, and the drivetrain offerings. Now for this 60th anniversary edition they have reworked all of those same areas again, and significantly improved upon them.

On the exterior they have improved the styling by making the mesh grille 33 percent larger and by focusing on adding other little details, such as LED daytime running lights and more. On the interior they have redesigned it to look cleaner, simpler and smarter. They have also given it some of the most advanced technology features on the market including a seven-inch LED touchscreen.

For the powertrain they will be offering either a 3.6-liter, six-cylinder or a big 5.7-liter, eight-cylinder to choose from. Both of these engines are paired to an impressive eight-speed automatic transmission and offer a snappy amount of power. In fact, the eight-cylinder produces an athletic 363-horsepower and 394 pound-feet of torque, which is plenty of power for even the most experienced drivers.
