2018 Jeep Renegade Trackhawk release
When it comes to releasing powerful, off-roading beasts into the auto-world, Jeep is on top of its game. While the brand doesn’t really need to prove itself to anyone, it’s always striving to improve its best products. So, when we caught wind of a possible new Grand Cherokee and Renegade, our ears perked up. We may not see a 2018 Jeep Renegade Trackhawk release for awhile, but we can certainly speculate and dream about it. We also caught wind that there may be a new Grand Cherokee Trackhawk that comes along with it, complete with a Hellcat powertrain. If you’re curious to hear more, read on. We have a few more speculative details on the possible models.
2018 Jeep Renegade model specs
Obviously, Jeep is pretty tight-lipped about the possible upcoming models, but the auto-world is pretty good about digging for information. Recent whisperings have suggested that the new Renegade could offer a twin-turbocharged, 2.4-liter four-cylinder, which may have an output of 300 horsepower (no too shabby!). Since Jeep is pretty well-known for being an incredible off-roading brand, the model should come with all-wheel drive. While the Renegade rumors are certainly exciting, there’s another possible model that we could see from Jeep: the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk.
2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk release
Along with new compact SUVs and the Renegade, Jeep is expected to release a brand new Grand Cherokee option to the public. Of course, this cannot be confirmed (again, because Jeep hates spoiled surprises), but there have been rumors that it will also include a Hellcat powertrain. If this is the case, we could be seeing a couple powerful new Jeeps in the near(ish) future. So, if you’re as excited as we are, stay tuned. We’ll share information as it becomes available!
