The new 2016 Ram 3500 HD pickup truck is able to top the 2015 model by an amazing 35 pound-feet of torque, which is a significant increase. Ram was able to achieve this increased torque rating by adjustments that have been made to the fuel delivery and the turbo’s boost. Ram has also beefed up the durability of the rear axle on the 2016 model by holding it with 16 bolts now instead of 12.
